REGISTRY INFORMATION: EASY AS
1, 2, 3!
First you will fill out
general information (all kept private) about yourselves and your big day. Names,
addresses, emails, phones, etc. This is so we can keep you informed on your registry
and send you your checks. You will choose a secure log in so that only yourselves
can access the registry to view and edit it.
*Next, the fun begins. You will now be able to
create your own personalized registry. You will be given the chance to look thru
all of our "sample registries" from different destinations. This will give you ideas
of items you can choose to put in your registry from the destination you are traveling.
You can use our idea registry as your own and have the chance to edit it. Or, you
can just create your own items for your registry. Or, you can do a combination of
both.
*Most guests and buyers like to purchase gifts that they would like themselves or
to be a reflection of themselves. Guests like to have many options and price points
to choose from, so have some fun and be creative.
*The items that you register for are not necessarily things that you have already
booked. These can be things you just wish to do on your big trip. Many of the items
can be arranged while on your big trip. You will then have the money for them.
*Anyone can register if you have booked your travel on your own or thru a travel
agent. You will still be paying for your big trip either thru your travel agent
or with whom you have booked thru on the dates it is due to them.This registry is
just a great way to have the money come into you to help pay for the trip. (Usually
after your payment for your trip).
*Once people purchase gifts from your registry, the money will go into a registry
account for you. There will be two dates to have the money come to you. One before
the trip and the other, two weeks after your trip (for late purchases). You will
choose when you would like to receive the first check. You will be able to view your registry for 90 days after the trip (Please note- we find that most purchases are done the week of the wedding or event. Most of the money will arrive in the second check after your event date).

Once you have registered,
you will have the opportunity to print out registry inserts that you can put in
with shower, wedding and event invitations or announcements. This is a great way
to let people know that you are registered with Paradise Registry.com. The more
you get the word out ,the more guests will access your registry, and the more of
your desired items will be purchased.
We are finding that so many couples these days
have all of the home and domestic needs already before the big day. Many couples
and travelers choose to have their only registry be with Paradise Registry, thus
having a fabulous honeymoon and trip.
Once registered, you will be able to access your registry to edit it and to view
what has been purchased. You will also be provided with a complete list of names
and addresses of people who have purchased you gifts, along with a list of what
they have purchased for you. As always, any access into your registry will be secure.
*Once registered, guests can purchase
any amount of items from the registry. They can either pay on our secure site with
credit card or they can call or fax in their payment. It’s that easy.
*For those purchasing gifts, there will be a 10%
service fee added upon checkout. This fee is about what tax and gift wrapping normally
would be on a conventional gift. This fee is how Paradise Registry is able to operate.
It pays for the credit card fees and website. There is no fee to you who register,
just upon check out from the guests. It is like part of their gift to you. You will
still receive the entire total of the item. If an item cost $35, you will still
get the $35. The guest will pay $38.50
*The guest will have the opportunity to print out a gift receipt to send to you.
*Because this registry idea is so new to many people, we suggest that the couple
or traveler consider doing the first purchase on their registry. This will show
guests that purchases have already been make and encourage others to do so.
